Students from Mountain Valley High School in Mexico practice their basketball skills on Monday afternoon after school. Seventh grade Jackson Rajaniemi, fifth grade Izaiah Fernandez, volunteer trainer Phil Mills and sixth grade director Madison Blanchard all play for the tire from the left. The students take part in the uniform basketball program of the Special Olympics. At MVMS, the program brings together seven student guides with 13 learning disabilities and their trainers.
