An INCLUSIVE event for people with learning difficulties will take place at a York school later this year.
The event, which will take place at the San Pedro School in Clifton, will promote inclusion.
Activities are offered that include both students and students with learning difficulties.
It is about promoting inclusion through sport, reducing the stigma and discrimination against people with learning difficulties.
The event organizer, Christine Mulvenna, said: "The event is a wonderful opportunity for people with learning difficulties to meet to try new activities, meet new people and make new friends."
The event organized by Mencap is free and includes lunch.
However, it is essential to register in advance as places are limited. It will run on June 22nd from 10am to 2pm.
To reserve a place, you must contact Christine Mulvenna on 02890690172 or by email at christine.mulvenna@mencap.org.uk
Mencap is a non-profit organization whose aim is to create a world in which people with learning difficulties are equally valued, heard and involved.
