In a new Facebook Chat, Noble Academy Aimee Picon, deputy head of the lower and middle secondary and Julie Bean, lower and Council of the junior high school, I offer a list of warning signs. If one of the following situations are met, parents should discuss the situation with your child's teacher. It may be nothing to worry about. Or it may be something that needs to be addressed.

- The child has a resistance to homework and studying
- The child brings home bad grades
- serious study of children do not lead to better grades
- Children reading is slow or difficult
- The child shows a lack of understanding of the written text
- The child has difficulty or show resistance to writing tasks
For younger preschoolers and kindergarten, here are some additional warning signs:

Talk to your child's teacher. "It is always important to contact the teacher if you have concerns. You can see something different in the way, what you see in the country and compare notes," said Picon and Bean ,
There could be many explanations for a child with warning signs regarding the learning problems. The disease, distraction and the only way that the child and the pace of learning can affect what you see in your child. Work with your child's teacher to determine what is typical and what could be a reason of an investigation or the need for additional resources.
Monitoring and stay involved. It is important to move forward with the recommendations of your child teachers and other professionals in the school. In the future it will monitor your child's progress and keep the lines of communication with current and future teacher of your child open. You know your child, make it a valuable resource, as well as the best advocate for your child.
